Volador: Experimental Suborbital Launch Vehicle
The Volador is our flagship test platform, a reusable hybrid propulsion vehicle combining the strengths of turbojets and rocket engines. Designed for tactical and scientific missions, Volador offers:
- One 7,000 Newton rocket engine + two turbojet engines
- Jet fuel and liquid oxygen propellant system
- Maximum altitude capability of 125,000 ft
- Total launch weight of 1,625 lb
- 15 ft height (excluding landing gear)
- Configurable for two-stage missions
